At The Difference Card, we value the strategic partnerships we form with our Brokers, General Agents, and Producers throughout the country.

Working together to deliver outstanding savings and service to our mutual clients has allowed us to continue to build on 20 years of success where we have driven savings for every client that has ever used The Difference Card. In an effort to recognize and reward the partnerships that have allowed our organization to thrive and grow, we created our Purple Producer Rewards Program.

The details below outline how we work with General Agents and Brokerage Agencies, as well as the advantages of our Broker Partner, Purple Producer and Elite Purple Producer tiers.

Rules of Engagement for 2022

New Business Opportunity Exclusivity Rules

Exclusivity is given to the first broker to meet the below criteria.

Submit a request for proposal:

  • RFP is defined as data specific to a client.
  • Minimum of accurate enrollment, rates & plan design.
  • The Difference Card consultant participates in meeting with the client.

Above exclusivity will last until the next renewal date.

 

Broker Partner Criteria

A Difference Card appointed broker is defined by the below criteria:

  • Must invite The Difference Card consultant to participate in the meeting with the client
  • Must have a signed Broker Compensation Agreement & W9 on file with The Difference Card.
  • Must have a signed Broker Business Associate Agreement on file
  • Must maintain 10 active client accounts or at least 1,000 MERP lives with The Difference Card by December 31, 2022
  • Sell 3 net new accounts or 300 net new lives annually

Broker Partner Perks

1. Preferred Pricing

25% setup fee discount, if implementation deadlines are met.
Paperwork & Summaries approved by the 10th
Census File in by the 15th
January Deadlines are 12/1 and 12/10

2. Partners Will Not Be Blocked On Dual Activity

Broker Partner Exclusivity: The standard criteria will be waived if the agency is a Broker Partner. Once the minimum qualifications are met, dual activity may be granted on any account.

To qualify as a Purple Producer for The Difference Card:

  • All requirements of a Difference Card Broker Partner apply, plus:
  • Sell 6 Net New Accounts or 600 Net New Lives Annually
  • Maintain 20 Active Clients or 2,000 MERP lives by December 2022

Purple Producer Preferred Pricing:

  •   50% setup fee discount, if implementation deadlines are met.
  •   Paperwork & Summaries approved by the 10th
  •   Census File in by the 15th
  •   January Deadlines are 12/1 and 12/10

Partners Will Not Be Blocked on Dual Activity:

Broker Partner Exclusivity: The standard criteria will be waived if the agency is a Broker Partner. Once the minimum qualifications are met, dual activity may be granted on any account.

Dedicated Service Team:

Senior Account Managers on any group over 100 enrolled

Purple Producer Council:

  • First access to new Difference Card solutions and innovations
  • Access to Difference Card Executives through the Purple Producer Council
  • Exclusive Purple Producer Council events!

To qualify as an Elite Purple Producer:

All requirements of a Difference Card Purple Producer apply, plus:

Sell 12 Net New Accounts or 1,200 New New Lives Annually

Maintain 80 Active Client Accounts or 10,000 MERP Lives by December 2022

 

Elite Purple Producer Preferred Pricing:

  • 100% setup fee discount, if implementation deadlines are met.
  • Paperwork & Summaries approved by the 10th
  • Census File in by the 15th
  • January Deadlines are 12/1 and 12/10

Partners Will Not Be Blocked on Dual Activity:

Broker Partner Exclusivity: The standard criteria will be waived if the agency is a Broker Partner. Once the minimum qualifications are met, dual activity may be granted on any account.

Broker of Record Protection:

The Difference Card will not authorize BOR takeovers on accounts written by agencies that are in the Elite Purple Producer club.
